An Evening with Deepa Sandeep London Artist

Deepa is returning for her second season with us. Her paintings on glass were a hit last season. We aren’t sure yet what her plans are for these dates but stay tuned. Included here are some of her previous workshop projects!

Deepa Sandeep is a mixed media and clay artist who lives in London Ontario Canada. She was born in India in June 1987. She has a degree in Fashion Designing and MBA in Textile management.

Deepa Sandeep is a self-taught artist, she discovered her talent when she was young and she knew that this was going to be her passion for rest of her life. Deepa decided to turn painting into a profession when she moved to London Ontario and now works from her studio DeepArtInside.

Beauty of nature is always fascinating, and the vibrant colour of flowers are eye catching, capturing this unparalleled beauty on canvas with elegance is what her work embodies. Deepa captures the fragility of nature, creating not exact replicas of it but rather her imagination of how it all comes together. She adds dash of gold and silver which gives her paintings a surreal effect. Most of her paintings have thick textures that give depth and dimension to the piece.

Deepa has some of her works currently displayed at 'For the love of Art', 725 Notre Dame Drive, London Ontario.

She has also showcased her works at 37th Spring art and craft show in London Ontario.

One of her recent accomplishment was, her name and work was called out by the director of For the Love of Art in an interview which was published in a local newspaper Londoner. Deepa currently shares her passion for art with others as an Art teacher.
